Today we had 4 more turbine presentations and then had a great 20 minute discussion on the difference between AC Generators and DC Generators.

No additional homework for next week. 

QBQ discussion on hold until we can fit it in. Special plans for Tuesday.....

Feb 22nd - Final Turbine Papers due

Feb 24th - Rough Draft Generator Papers due

We reviewed resume comments, discussed nuclear plant operation, and did 3 of the turbine presentations.

In Class Feb 3rd

Spent entire day on interview questions. Great discussions.  See you on Tuesday with turbine models and presentations.

In Class Feb 1

Today we spent 30 mins discussing, first in small groups, then as a large group, the operation of a generator.

In our future we have:

• Functional paper diagram
• Generator paper
• Generator 3D model
• Generator presentation

Thursday will be spent practicing "So...tell us a little about yourself" speech,  and finishing up teamwork on presentations/models.
